Governance Structure

The governance of ECBCheck relies on three distinct bodies, under the overall coordination of EFQUEL and GIZ

      

ECBCheck Administrative office

The ECBCheck secretariat is hosted by EFQUEL

The ECBCheck Administrative Office is responsible for the smooth operation of the ECBCheck community label. This includes

  • First contact to and information for organisations that are interested in joining the initiative or obtaining the ECBCheck label.
  • Coordination processes for the ECBCheck (follow up on running certification processes)
  • Management of reviewers pool
  • Hosting and management of ECBCheck website and communication

ECBCheck Steering Group

The steering group, led by GIZ, consists of a number of organisations that are either committed organisations from the field of Capacity Building or expert organisations in the fields of e-Learning and Quality (e.g. research centres, universities). Each organisation has one representative in the steering group.  The steering group is responsible for the strategic development of ECBCheck to continuously adapt the label to the communities needs.  The steering group members are:
